The journal Law and Economy (ISSN 0354-3501) has been published since 1993 as a continuation of the journal  Handbook of Business Law (ISSN 0032-9002), which has been published since 1963. The journal publishes original scientific papers, critical analyzes, comments on court decisions and book reviews. From 2020, the journal is published in electronic form (eISSN 2683-5592).

Papers published in the journal are subject to anonymous review by two reviewers determined by the editorial board.

The journal Law and Economy is an open access journal.

Journal publishes papers in English and Serbian.
The journal is published in print and electronic form. A printed copy of the journal is charged. The annual subscription is 4.550 for individuals, i.e. 9.100 RSD for legal entities.
